In this workshop you will learn how to calculate the shrinkage of the felt and how to make a 2D resist template to felt a 3D object. Flóra will show you how to create different hat shapes with the same templates, and give you ideas for surface decorations. The class will also study and explore how varying the density of wool affects shrinkage rates and provides us with control in shaping the brim. Extra attention will be given to fulling the felt correctly and shaping the hat.
